seals out mammals, birds and insects, and keeps out rain, snow sleet
and hail. Constructed of cast aluminum and stainless steel, its gasket
and solid silicone rubber gasket provide a weather tight seal.

lining in a masonry chimney is defined as “clay, ceramic or metal conduit
installed inside a chimney, intended to contain the combustion products,
direct them to the outside atmosphere, and protect the chimney walls
from heat and corrosion.”
